Southern iota-Aquarids associated earthgrazer on August 21st, 2015

portadaAt 20:44 UT of last August 21st, 2015, a Southern iota-Acuarids associated fireball could be observed from both Calar Alto fireball detection station and surveillance east webcam. Although it was a low bright object, it remained visible for a long time.

Alpha-Capricornid from comet 169P/NEAT over Almería's coast

portadaAs expected, another bright Alpha-Capricornid fireball from comet 169P/NEAT meteoroid has been observed, in this case in front of Almería's coast (south Spain) on July 26, 2015 at 04:26 UT.

Fireball from Comet 169P/NEAT on July 22nd 2015

portadaOn July 22nd, 2015, four fireballs flew over the Iberian Peninsula. Calar Alto fireball detection station and the west surveillance webcam, detected the one that crossed Málaga Skies. This object came from Comet 169P/Neat and took place at 22:07 UT.

Fireball with possible cometary origin on July 7th, 2015

portadaThis fireball happened on July 7th, 2015, about 20:01:10 UT, when there was still some daylight. Unfortunately, this object seems to be observed only at Calar Alto fireball detection station and external surveillance webcams, so presently neither triangulation could be achieved nor its ground path.

Fireball of June 27, 2015

27Jun portadaLast June 27th, 2015, about 02:48 UT, a fireball flew over Cuenca and Guadalajara Spanish provinces. This fireball was best observed from northern stations, but it can also be viewed at Calar Alto.
